How to block Facebook in my laptop
Facebook blocking in browsers
Do you use Internet Explorer, or another browser? Which version? Which operating system (XP, Vista, Mac OS X, etc.)?
Try doing this. Click the "Tools" menu, then click "Internet Options", and then click the "Content" tab. Under "Content Advisor", click "Enable".
Now click the "Approved Sites" tab and type the following:
*.facebook.com
Press "Never" and click "OK".
Now click the "General" tab and click the checkbox to enter a password. Should be okay from here, but a weak security measure such as this can be circumvented by a relatively computer-savvy youngster.

The location of the hosts file depends on your operation system.
Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Note! Make a backup of the hosts file and put it somewhere safe, in case you mess up.
1. Open the hosts file using Notepad or other plain text editor.
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 facebook.com
3. Paste it into the Hosts file in last
4. Save and close the Hosts file.
5. Reboot your computer to apply the changes.
6. Try to open Facebook in a browser.

If any Problem for saving the file ..just copy paste the file to any other location ..after edit replace the file ..it will work
